What Are Some Peace-themed Songs For A Picture Slideshow For A Mission Trip I Went On?
I am trying to find songs to go with a photo slideshow to promote fundraising for the place we visited while on a mission trip. We are also trying to get child sponsors- right now I just have “Imagine” by John Lennon. Any ideas? Thanks.

YoungBlood’s “Get Together”
Cat Steven’s “Peace Train”
3 Dog Night “Easy to Be Hard”
Forget “Imagine”

I think Imagine by John Lennon’s good.
that’s actually what i was going to say before i read what you wrote. (:
there’s one song, it’s not really about peace as much as it is change.
&& it’s ironically called Change && it’s by Brooke White.
you should at least listen to it, it’s really good.

You shouldn’t use “Imagine”. It’s whole theme is very anti-God.
“Imagine there is no heaven – Imagine there is no religion”
Definitely not appropriate for a missions slide show.
Other than warning you, I can’t think of a thing. Sorry.

“Peace Train” by Cat Stevens
And speaking of trains, there’s also “Love Train” by the Ojays. I think it will fit the subject better than that beer commercial it’s on.

Give Peace a Chance – John and Yoko Lennon
Blowin’ in the Wind – (I like Peter, Paul, and Mary’s version)
